Help with loud rattle in rear
Maybe someone has experienced this and has some suggestions.
Under load in 4th sometimes and 5th always Iam experiencing a very loud rattle like tin cans tied to the back of the car. I have been in the boot with this sound happening and it appears that it is coming from past the diff.
Things I have done to find out what it is.
New Exhaust and muffler
Removed rear sway bar
Replaced tailshaft
Replaced bushes and wot not
New shocks
New upper control arms
Removed some heat sheilding
Put magnets down the inside of the rear quarters
Through all these efforts the noise has remained constant.
Iam at about my wits end with this. It started when the new motor went in. Obviously this is a different resonance thus the rattle. But where????
Please help Sue
