help LOUD beep and power loss

BACKGROUND (4 days ago)

So I recently had a ignition interlock devise in stalled in my 7, never had problems with anything electrical before that happened. The other day as i was driving i started hearing an electrical humm coming from the rear speakers. Moments later my battery gauge spiked to max and then continued beyond max. I imediatly turned everything aux off fearing i snapped my new alternator belt, i then for some reason turned the fan on to max and the gauge INSTANTLY jumped back down to 13 volts. Turns out a fuse blew in the ignition interlock system so a guy cam out and replaced it.

NOW (past 2 days)

The car started 2 days after that making a loud obnoxious buzzing, the same sound the 7 would make if you were low in water or oil. The sound would cut in and out at first but now stays on for 20-30 mins whatever and it sucks. I took it back to the interlock guys hoping they could fix it but now the car runs worse i couldnt even take the freeway home because as soon as the car would reach its optimal rpm band the it would lose power and sputter. To get home i had to do a sympony of 2nd-3rd-4th. PLEASE HELP i'm clueless ! ps (my tach doesnt work so i cant give u any specific RPM's) thanks

Why does your tach not work?

Check ignitors, that would be the first thing I would look at.

i've checked the ignitors and they're both fine so its behind the gauges or at the tranny, but not to be rude, i can live with that for now its the beep and the loss of power that's worring me.

Change your fuel filter, that is most likely the cause for loss of power. As for the beeping, is it coming out of the stereo speakers?

the car has a brand new fuel filter in it, maybe two weeks old. the beeping is coming from under the steering wheel. it didnt start experiencing the power loss until i took it back to them to fix the beeping and he starting just moving wires around, not unpluging but just moving them.

Sounds like the beeping could be the overrev buzzer going off, i dont know what else other than the door ajar buzzer that beeps in the dash. Its probably related to your tach not working, which in turn likely has something to do with the loss of power. Go over the ignition system to make sure that everything is connected and your ignitors are good. Doing so should fix your tach unless the tach itself is bad.

i've checked the ignitors and the ohm meter said they were ok, and i've checked the distributor and sparks plugs. the sound is that of a warning buzzer. the problem being it only started the other day when the tards that installed it started messing around with wires, and then when i took it back to them to fix it they had no idea nad started messing with wires (just moving them, not disconnecting them) and thats when the power loss started. i'm stumped. i'm thinking about maybe having my local mazda look at it, but from asking a few questions of them about other things it seems that they're not well versed on the 7.

Get the wiring diagrams for the alarm install and downlowd the 85 FSM from my sig line. Sit down and study both diagrams, then find where they tapped in and what wires they disturbed.
