Help identify Dellorto carb part.

Hey guys I was cleaning out my carb and when I flipped it over to drain some of the carb cleaner out a small stainless steel ball bearing fell out of the fuel bowl. I looked in the bowl and notice a small hole in the center. I placed the ball bearing in and it sits in there. Is this where its suppose to be? Also what is it for?

Thanks, Ed
By the way my Holley blue just came it and I let you know if it solves my high rpm miss/stumble.

there are two of those steel ball bearings. they go not IN the float bowl, but right next to it. there are two brass plugs with flat heads to unscrew the plugs. put one ball bearing under each brass plug. and screw the plug ontop.

Part number 51. Pump jet ball bearing. You don't need the weight ontop of it, part number 50.
