help electrical problem

help electrical problem

i have a 79 rx7 that i had to put back together because the guy that i bought it from took it all apart to paint it ...everything from the tail lights to the head ligths ...well the problem is that when i turn the blinkers on my tail lights wount blink but the license plate lights blink together...when i turn the head lights on ..one comes on half way and the other about an inch and when i turn them off they didnt come back down..the license plate lights stay one all the time even when i take the key off the ign..one of the dash light stays on and wount go off...its just a nightmare....help please....

Unfortuneatly there is no quick answer that anyone will be able to give you. You will need to either obtain a haynes manual or download a copy of the FSM per member trochoids link. Then you will be able to look at the wiring diagram.

I would suspect that there are wires that are grounded that should not be. Also for the headlamp not going down, check the fuseable links in the engine bay. Just take your time and address one issue at a time.
