Unhappy Help Clutch

Driving into to work this morning my clutch decides to stay on the floor, I managed to make into work. I looked at the fluid level, its between min & max. Does the level need to be at the max or could it be something else?

your master cylender might need replacing, mine sure does. you could have air in the line as well... that's what happened to me. I got air in the line and the pedal just fell to the floor and wouldn't come back up. It turned out that my slave cylender starte leaking, then sucked air back in or some **** like that....on top of it my master cyl is also leaking down the firewall...so I'm ordering all new hydralics, it's not that expensive, might as well...

Thumbs up Speckamp's right on...

Don't try and rebuild....It's just not worth it....Buy new, or a reman slave and master. That way you're you'll be in good shape for a very long time....Oh, inspect that rubber hose, it should be okay, but check it anyway just so you can feel secure...

Denny, from the 'ol corncrib....
