Help with CD player

I got a Pioneer CD player for my 1982 RX-7. I hooked everything up. (Did alot of searching on the forum to figure out where things go and stuff). Grounded it. When I turn the Ignition to the ACC or ON position, the CD player doesn't turn on. So I tried getting a switched source (ACC) from another wire and that didn't work. I also checked my fuses in the box and in the CD player and they're okay. Any ideas??

o also hook it up and make sure that it works right now and that your face is in, and also check and make sure you dont have an inline fuse on ur cd player power wire or a fuse in the back that isnt blown.

Yeah, I'll go back and check the wiring today. I checked the fuse in the the back of the CD Player and that was good. Maybe it's just the wiring is wrong.

Did you try hitting the power button? Whoever put the cd player in my car wired it up so I could turn it on without the car even being in the car, and turn it off seperately from the rest of the car. You may want to check to see if you wired it in like that.

Okay so I did a test with a multimeter and found the wire I was using for the ACC, was no good, so I looked for another wire and found one. Now the CD player works and ****. Next step is to figure out the speakers. I got 2 speakers hooked up in the front and they work (I don't care about the ones in the back) but I gotta figure out how I'm going to mount them because they're a tad big for the stock hole.
