NY help with 600 cfm holley

I just picked up a 600 cfm holley ( 0-1850S) for my now to be street ported 12a and I hear a lot of talk about a Secondary Metering Plate which the carb ofcourse does not have. So my question is, Is the Secondary Metering Plate needed for my carb so that my streetport runs right and what size should I get. Also what size primary and secondary jets should I use. Do I need to change the acc pump?
If I am asking for too much I apologize but I know that this is the best place in the world to get my answers .
THANKS ROTARIES 4 LIFE!!!

these are mods i have done to my holley.
1.converted to secondary metering block that uses jets(cheaper than buying different plates).
2.secondary diapham spring kit to adjust the secondary openning rate.
3.50cc acc pump with a .028" pump discharge shooter.
i'm use #60-62 primary and #70-72 secondary jets.
also i'm not using the power valve so i had to richen the primary to compensate.
BTW purchase the holley manual it has all the how to info and system related details.

You really don't need the 50cc acc pump.
