Stripped bolt...

Okay so today I decided to put my new brake master cylinder on my gs. Well I get the side two lines off and then I proceed to take the bottom one off as well. Well in the process of loosening the bottom line, I stipped the nut..... now whats the best way to get it loose without striping it further more. I cant get enough pressure to turn it with a wrench or it just slides around it. I dunno what to do, I have it soaked in wd-40 in hopes that it will loosen up enough to get it loose, but its not lookin that way. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I searched and didnt really find what I was looking for too.

try with a file or grinder, or cut off wheel cut the sides back to normal then heat it up with a torch thats how i get stuck bolts off alleast. try liquid wrench if you dont want to heat.

ehh not enough room to use a torch, i'll try the liquid wrench.

Usually when using wrenches on brake line fittings they will strip. Did you use a flarenut wrench?

No I didnt have one. I know I should have but eh, I was too lazy to call around and see how has one. But now its gonan be more work grr lol. The other two came off easy as could be, that last one was in too tight and bleh.

It happend to me beforeI grabbed one of those vise grips (pressure pliers). Try to torch it then use the visegrips. g/l

Toss that can of WD and get a can of P B Blaster. Since you have already stripped the nut, try a pair of 5R vise grips. Next time, use PB and the proper tool, a flare nut wrench.
