Check the faq but here are some of the first things I did after coming to this site. Each gave me a noticable difference in running (either speed, power or smoothing out the idle).

- replaced all battery cables (battery, starter, engine grounds)
- tune up! - new fuel filter, spark plugs, cables, distributor rotor/cap, oil/filter, air filter (k&n)
- 2nd gen igniton with Tranisitor trick - there is a thread here trying to get pre-orders to have more tranisitor boxes made. Whole mod would run you ~ 100$ with used 2nd gen coil/ignitor. (you get 2 leading ignition sparks instead of 1)
- RB exhaust - full system header --> muffler. Try to find used or prepare to spend ~ 800$ (but well worth it IMHO)

Ratboy, you get 2 leading ignition sparks whether it be a 2nd gen coil or not. Just a little tidbit FYI.

But yes, the 2CGDFIS w/tt is a whole lot better.
