I am looking at buying my first RX7 1st gen . Needing to know what the oil pressure guage should read at idle and anything else to look out for . The oil pressure seemed to be a little high is that normal . I would really appriciate any help on this matter .THANKS RX7 for life!!

 

I believe the oil pressure at idle should be around 30.

Mine's typically at 60 when I'm at 4000 or so rpms

 

also if your looking for stuff check behind the bins for rust.

 

Wheelwells too!

 

All I know is that mine idles with the gauge at about half.
