hello bac help?

their is a vac hose from the bac to the chamber, then the chamber to the rats nest that is connected to the vacuum sole valve. my problem is that i have no chamber . so how can i connect the by-pass valve with out using the chamber. connecting the by-pass directly
to the rats nest will kill the car. if i leave the vac hoses off the idle is about 2ooorpms(idling rough). help please.
