Headlights died...

So i go out to the car the other day and my headlights just plain dont work.. when turned to the on position the highbeam indicator turns on dimly and both turn signals light up a little but no headlights. checked all fuses and wiring and main fuses/fusible links under the hood and everything is ok...has anyone else had this problem or have any idea what could be going on?...i have to wait for the title to clear before it gets on the road so its not that big a deal right now but i kinda want to know why they decided to stop working..

Any help or insight is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Josh

Battery is weak?
Loose ground?
Corroded combo switch contacts?

Thanks for the starting points! the battery is brand spankin new so id hope its not weak. i will check the headlight ground circuit for any problems tomorrow when i have some light to be poking around in...as for the combo switch...the turn signals and everything else works so is it possible just the stalk that turns the headlights on is the problem? would there be any easy way of diagnosing this without buying a whole new switch?

Yep; electrically & mechanically, it's pretty isolated from most other stuff

Use the wiring diagram to sort out which connections going into it are the wires you're concerned with, and bypass them with a hefty jumper wire.
