Hey, you know that little bell sounding warning you that you left your headlights on? The one on my 82 won't turn off! its driving me nuts! driving around with "dingding...dingding...dingding..." Can anyone tell me where the damn thing is so i can disconnect it? thanks!

 

It's behind the instrument cluster. It is the same chime that sounds when the keys are left in the ignition. You will probably have to remove the cluster to get to it.
