Headlight probs, Help!!

I cant get my headlights to go up or down automatically! I thought the switch might be the prob, b/c the old one was crumbling inside but I replaced it and they still wont go up! I checked the wires, everything goes where it should, and when I turn the lights on I hear a relay under the hood click, but the lights wont go up. Any suggestions?

Your fusible link is gone. There is a little brown box kind of thing on the drivers side strut tower. It has three loops of what looks like wire comming out of one side and the normal looking wires at the other. The loops are fusible links. The center one is the one you want. Its called the retractor. You should be able to find one from someone here or at a junkyard. Just DO NOT replace it with plain wire. These are special links made to burn out with a certain load. I read of a way to replace these with normal fuses but I will let someone else explain this.

I second that its the fuseable link. I just got over the electric blues on my car but it all works now! A hint until you fix it: Just pull over somewhere and manual crank you lights up, heh just try to make it look not broken.
