I know this question has been asked in the 2nd gen forums, but I have a problem, my 85 s' headlights work, but when I push the highbeam lever, they shut off, they stay up though, this problem does not occur when I use the passing beams (pull back on the multi switch) the highbeam mode works fine then. Any ideas???

 

sounds like a problem in the multiswitch
