headlight motors

I have one that will go up - none that will go down, is there anything I can do other than replacing them to get them working?

I had one head light till yesterday that stayed in the up position, until i bagned lightly on the relay (its that black thing covered with rubber just right beside the motor) and everything worked back again ... sometime these little relays get stuck so they need a little push and shove to get them back on their feet. So do you manually put them down then? then you can flick them up via the switch ?

it could be the occilator. its a little black box behind the headlight arm assembly, bolted to the core support.

ok I look into that, and yes, they have to be manually put down and only one raises when the switch is hit.

changed anything in the wiring recently?
mine are both stuck up at the moment, I think I blew a fuse or have a bad connection somewhere.

Any reason that one headlight would go up and the other not do anything? The passengers side works great, drivers doesn't. Hope I can fix it this afternoon.

nope - this is how I got the car, the driver's motor may have given out, but I figured I would try to get them working if there was a way.
