head unit wiring
i just checked out the other post about wiring and was wondering about mine i cant hook it up at all...................i ran a new to the fuse box with new fuse and wire ran the wire up under the dash ot teh unit have all teh grounds and ill and plus in the head unit it turns on and the speakers work untill they touch the car .........my friend who is helping me install it used to workat a audio shop and knows some stuff so he ran the wire and we rewired the front speakers but still same problem it works good then u touch the front right ot the body is desent sounds funny then u touch the front left to the body and the whole thing turns off..............i havent touched the back speakers yet because the wiring from the back speakers dont match the front ones at the plug... the other owner did it him-self and hard wired it so theres no plugs and he added wires and it looked like a tangled piece of crap can anyone help i will check often and give feed back on what ya'll say or to help out more thanks alot if any one helps which nobody talks back to me so thanks if u do

I think I kind of understand what you are saying. Something *similar* happened to me while wiring my speakers: One of my speaker wires coming out of the receiver (specifically, one of the front speakers' signal) was accidentally touching a ground, and that caused the other speakers not to work at all (the ones that were already wired up). Basically, whenever you are testing a single speaker, make sure the other 6 speaker wires are not touching any ground.
