hate to post this... leaving AC intact???

I could have sworn I saw a thread that stated that someone had pulled thier engine without having to disconnect the ac system... I have to pull my engine to do some work on the frame to be able to mount the FC subframe up and want to keep the ac intact.

If anyone cold shoot me some tips it would be appreciated

I did it last fall, really wasn't much of a problem to keep the ac in there.
Unbolt the compressor from its bracket and tie it to your strut mount with some wire. You'll probably need to take the bracket off the engine to have clearance to lift it out of there with the compressor hanging in the bay, but that's pretty much the extent of messing with the ac that you'll need to do.
