Unhappy hate to be a broken record but.......

1985 gsl stock besides header, emmisions intact.

anyway, yesterday while letting my car warm up before work it began running real wierd like my leading ignition had gone bad, barely running unless my foot was on the pedal and not revving beyond 3k and miraculesly fixed itself so i could get to work. today same thing until i got to the middle of an intersection and then it died. so after i got it towed home i checked my ignitors both seem good, (well the light bulb went on and off anyway) swapped leading and trailing ignitor, still no start. so checked plugs/wires/dizzy cap/coil/battery and no spark . so my question is now what?

i left out a fairly important detail on the situation, it still gets a spark from coil to dizzy.

are you getting power from ignitors to coils...in other words your power is good all through out your ignition system?...sounds like it may be a grounding problem with your ignitors or something, they ground through the bolt/screw holes on the corners, so make sure the washer and the wholes are free of corrosion, maybe that will help.

check for vacuum leaks. the part where you said it would run fine past 3k rpm led me to believe there could be a leak somewhere. if you cant find it, it could be your acv leaking internally
