Has anyone tried the coolant seal fix?

Just wondering if anyone here has tried it with great success. I did it to my motor and its still leaking water and smoking like a freight train. I plan to try it one more time before I pull the motor. Any tips?

Thanks, Ed

It only fixes radiators and heater cores, sounds like you got a cracked block

Alright did the coolant seal fix again and my car is still smoking. What am I doing wrong here? Three things I did different this time. Used a whole gallon of the degreaser to make sure it was clean. Had the heater on the whole time and thermostat was removed to increase flow. I let it sit overnight and fired it up the next morning with no success. I have not done the follow up treatment with another bottle yet but I'm losing all hope here.

Thanks, Ed

Sealing up coolant seals in rotaries (or heads in boingers) it a lot harder than sealing the radiator or heater core... The seal has to deal with the intense pressure caused by combustion...

I don't think it's gonna work... There's no such thing as mechanic in a can... That engine is gonna have to be torn down...

I learned the same thing on a Civic with a bad head gasket...

Hey, think of it this way, it's an excuse to upgrade the internals of the enigne... Port it... Lucky you don't have to replace any housings, shouldn't cost you as much as if you say, lost an apex seal or something.

13BTOY, I feel for ya, but I am not far behind. Mine deosn't smoke, but I do have water on the lead plug after it sits for awhile. I was going to try the leak fix myself. Maybe I'll just pass and go straight for the build with a street port.
