The red is fine and all, but the gauge pod is too Jake the Snake for me

I agree, I like the red, but the snake skin looks like it belongs in a 75 Caddy Fleetwood.

how would one go about smoothing out a cracked dash before covering it in tweede?

probably fiberglass or filler with glass in it

The edges of the split in a dash have a tendency to curl upward - - you might need to trim them a bit to get a smooth finish.

This thread make anyone else think of the Ford "Levi's" Blue Denim Pinto?

I saw a 7 in the junk yard once with the whole interior covered with purple crushed velvet. I should of gotten a pic of it. Ugly as sin. I think the car has been long crushed by now.

I just read a thread on flocking, thers a guy doing it in PA, i think he said 150 to do a dash, i could be wrong
