well, i have a older friend who's a master electrician. the joke goes him and ben franklin argued over who would hold the kite string. we all know how that one ended up, but it was my friend's key.

so trochoid, what did you and felix argue about?

happy birthday, and thanks for your help

Damn guys, I'm humbled and deeply appreciate the thank yous. Am I 40, I wish, and no, anymore I don't tell my age, it's too much fun letting people guess. For those that are curious, I was born in the first half of the last century, lol. That's as close as I get to admitting my age.

The forum means a great deal to me and has become a big part of my life, many days it's the only thing I can look forward too. I will continue to participate and contribute as long as I can as it provides me not only with a great deal of satisfaction and self worth, I learn a lot too.

For all of you youngins, age is relative, it's the state of mind that makes one old, not age and I have refused to grow up for the past 3 decades. The odd thing is, my youngest son turned 26 yesterday and he is the same age as many of my friends, both on and off the forum. Sad part is, neither of my sons talk to me any more and don't even know who thier old man is.

Thanks again for the B-day wishes and the ego boost.

I have a friend from work who is in his late 60's early 70;s,and he tells me all the time that he remembers when "Ohm's Law was just a bill in Congress".

We are electricians if you didn't figure that out yet.

Happy birthday Scott.

For a guy who's far enough over sixty that his seniors card expired and had to be renewed, you sure have a lot of energy and drive, and your help and advice has been appreciated.

Happy Birthday Trochoid ! Hope you have had a fine one.

We're all getting older, you know. I'm just holding out 'til they have rotary engines at the "scooter store". Then you can tell us how to make one of those more reliable or faster or wider.

I think it only appropriate to repeat all that again(although I hope part of it will change) after all you gave me a big ego boost earlier this week. Age is def realtive most think I am either alot older or alot younger than I actually am. Happy Birthday and here is to wishing you many more 21st b-days

It's Bob's (Inittab) birthday too, but I don't see him posting around the forum anymore. Per his profile he has been online as recent as 11/30, but has not posted since July.

Happy Birthday! See your posts all the time, keep up the good info. Mechanic for a living so it's good to learn about these 'mysterious' engines that my customers call them.
