GSL vs GSL/SE axle length

What is the difference in length between GSL and GSL/SE axles? I'm not asking about the housing - I am asling about the axles themselves.

Thanks!

since the track widths are the same, the axle housing is the same, but the wheels are a different offset, ASSUMING the brake disc is the same thickness, then the axles MUST be different, yes?

should be like 15mm longer?

i have some -SE axles i can measure if you need it

The gsl and gslse axle are different lenghts. I measured the difference between my axle assemblies a few months ago, and the difference was about 1.5 inches (hub to hub). So about a 3/4inch (19mm) difference in the axle lengths.

Don't quote me on these numbers though, as these were rough measurements and are not exact.

I remember talking to Billy (re-speed) years ago about this when I was ordering the 5 lug axles for my FB and it was something like 3/4" longer for the SE axles so I'd say you're close. It's been 6 years though so I could a bit off

Sound about right. My 16x7 Acura wheels on 1" adapters on the GSL are narrower by about 1/2" each side installed on a SE without the 1" adapters.

Which sucks, because it will look terrible when I swap my SE rear in!

Thanks guys! I have Moser GSL/SE axles in my car now but would like something narrower. Makes getting wheels with the right offset a PITA.
