i was speakin with a friend who owned several rx7s im his younger years and he told me that he saw GSLSE rims with a universal pattern.. is this true?? or has the truth been exaggerated a bit toooo much?

Is there such a thing as a universal pattern ? Put me down as skeptical.

universal... rims? cause a rim with 114.3 X 4 and about 35-40 mm offset will fit..
