GSL-SE missfire help
OK, I was out getting a new Cat convertor installed on my car and on the way home it started misfiring at anything over 2500 RPM and about 15% throttle. Now in my mind It could be one of two things, 1) the new cat I put on is too restrictive, but it doesnt quite feel like a restricted cat, because as it turns out once i got about 1 mile away from my place it started to clear up and didnt feel low on power then. The only other thing i can think of is a clogged fuel filter because I did just fill my tank for the first time since last fall (the car was parked over winter) and i'm thinking I just stirred up 30 years worth of **** at the bottom of my tank, but than again I just replaced the filter last summer and i wouldnt think it could be clogged up already.
any opinions are appreciated

Check the little cone filter on the fuel pump inlet.

You should also replace the other filter on the outlet side of the fuel pump since you don't want to clog your injectors.
Which cats did you have to replace? Usually the first one commits suicide which kills the second one and then all that crap ends up in the third one. I just have the first two as empty exhaust pipes so it looks like they're in place and I put a '90 cat in the last place and even though I think they get the port 5 & 6 actuator pressure from the air pump, the '90 cat still had the fitting so my actuators still work normally and even better, it passes California's smogII test easily.
