Gsl-se front strut/hub swap to 1979 Sa

I have some front gsl-se strut/hubs. Will theses work without issue if I gather the brake parts?

Thanks in advance.

Brake line pitch is different. Wheel bolt pattern is different also. If you do not have the full se setup, I would get the 84-85 front disc rotor from the 12a to keep the matching bolt pattern.

it still won't work. The 1979 front spindle is small bearing and ALL 1984/1985 (S, GS, GSL, GSL-SE) are big bearing. Here is what you would need:

1. Front spindles (shock tubes) from 1984/1985
2. GSL-SE front rotors/calipers/seals/etc..
3. GSL-SE rear end or GSL with GSL-SE axles OR redrilled GSL axles.
4. Rear brakes stuff for GSL-SE
5. Rear e-brake cables that go into the subframe
6. Rear poportionaing vavlue
7. Probably an upgraded brake booster and master because of the pitch different AND bigger booster.

I know there is stuff I probably forgot and there are other ways to get this done.

Thanks. Depending if we swap out our 5.0 conversion to the Ford rearend will be the deciding factor on it.

I may just run the front and use adapters on the rear.

Thanks for all the details.
