gsl-se air flow meter

i put on the 2nd gen air flow meter today and when i started the car all it would do is pop.. Any suggestions

search for posts made by max7, get on his website, he has a guide to use a 2nd gen AFM on a GSL-SE, but i think its with very very limited success....

i did take it back off but every one said u can just put it on and go and adjust the screw on the side

yea, the 2nd gen used different voltages, so even though it'll plug up, it's not sending the right data to the ecu. if it was a miata on the other hand...
