GSL oilcooler swap
Just got an oil cooler off of a gsl to replace the water cooled one. Does anyone have any photos or advice on how to convert this thing? All it came with is the cooler, 2 hoses, and the filter mount. Thanx

The radiator in your car is too tall to mount the oil cooler under. For the best fit without custom mounts it's easiest to get a radiator from an early 1st Gen RX-7 < 83. Those radiators are shorter and have the mounts for the under-the-radiator oil cooler that you have.

Make brackets to mount it, get oil filter pedestal from a non water cooler rotary...
Make oil lines
Done
The one I did is a 2nd gen one, more plentiful in junkyards and usually are better, less age etc

Also, the air oil cooler came standard on all pre 83 models. After that, it was mounted up on top of the engine. See if you can get the radiator from the same source as you got the cooler from.
