GSL with 13b Swap problem --> Coil power but no spark?

I am close to finishing a motor swap in my 1985 GSL, I dropped in a carbed street ported 13b from a friends rotted 1980 donor car.

Some of the wiring clips are different. one of the main clips on the car is 4 pins and 2 are power (thick black with white or yellow stripe) and the motor's counter part seems to have 5 pins, I have manually connected some of the wires and now I have power to my coils but no spark from them,

any idea's? I'll get some pics of the clips tomorrow

Why didn't you just stick the 85" dizzy in the motor and call it a day

the 80 will not work. yes, it has an electronic ignition but it has a separate ignitor box located near the battery. I agree with rotor13B. just use the 85's dizzy and thats it.

You guys are assuming that the 13B has an '80 distributor setup because it came from an '80 car?
It's obvious that the coils aren't getting the trigger pulse from the ignitor modules, whether it has the remote setup or not.

I'm not assuming anything. I'm just saying If he used the distributor from the 85" motor, he wouldn't have a wiring problem to begin with.
