greasey clutch?
alright guys last night i pulled my tranny, pulled the pressure plate and clutch, replaced my pilot bearing and seal, then put it all back together and replaced my slave cylinder. i was very careful doing the clutch part but i still think i might have gotten some grease finger prints on my clutch because now it doesnt grab as hard as it used to and at high rpm shifting it engages super slow.
my question is will this go away? can i somehow get that grease to come off on its own?
or do i have to pull the damn tranny again and clean it with brake cleaner? if i have to do all that work again ill deffinatly have my flywheel resurfaced
id rather not do all that work, what are my options?

Typically "finger prints" arent enough to make a big deal. You would have to put globs of grease/oil on things to cause problems. Did you over grease the pilot bearing possibly? Maybe a leaking rear main seal, or front transmission seal?
To correct the problem, you really should take it back apart and double check/clean everything. Also, in the future, you should handle clutch discs by the center hub, and the pressure plate by the outer edges whenever possible however, and make sure to clean things up with some brake clean and lint free rags, just some tips
