Got my "ioTus" exhaust done! -pix-

It took time for me to find time, but got it done. And does it ever look sweet!
For those who didn't catch his post awhile back, ioTus cut the stock RB tips
off, and welded on larger polished stainless tips, major rearend improvment
Thanks ioTus for the idea!!

I'm not usually a fan of duel tips on anything, but that looks alright. Well done.

Details - cut n weld ( I did offset them a bit from the RB to center them in the opening )
Sound - Seems a bit deeper, maybe its just me
Power - none, its just a tip
Part number - APC 156070 Universal muffler tip
From - SoundDomain.com = $20.95 each
CC number - Which one?

A closeup shot - There is a bit of custom fitting them, but nothing major.

i heard it maked it a tad louder because the RB mufflers stock tips have liuttle baffles in them that restrict flow

Thanks. I'm surprised no powah. The tips on the RB are puny and restrict flow like Greg said. I would have thought uncorking them would make power and a bit more noise.

Free, I work at a welding shop.

and the stock RB tips have no restrictor, the size you see is the same going into and thru the muffler.
When replacing the tips there is no change in flow to the muffler.
It just comes out into a larger, semi resonated tip.

Its looks gigantic because of the angle. It is big,but it fits the build of the body, you just cant see the full fender width in that shot.

Its a real Mariah wing that was banned by IMSA after 1984 because it worked too good on the track.Notice it doesnt have a "streetcar friendly" cutout in the middle for visibility. All buisness.I wanted a wing that fit the width of the widebody and one that no one else had.Mariah had'nt made one in a LONG time,so they subbed it out to an outside fiberglass guy because they didnt have anyone who could make it inhouse.
