Sounds good, looking forward to updates.

How long did it take from the time you ordered to get the setup from Grannies? I sent my information to them yesterday and i'm looking forward to getting my setup!

They had one already made. Once payment was recieved it shipped in 2 days. 4 days to get here. The torque arm setup took 10 days to get here (seperate box).. not bad..

Not bad at all, probally not going to be that fast in my case though.

I just wish they were faster with the email responses, I talked to Grant once, but it's hard to get quick replies. Which is understandable if they are extremely busy though.

For my setup im going with the 5x114.3 bolt pattern, ford brake brackets, 4.30 gear ratio, basically there deluxe setup. We will see how that goes for me...

I got the rear installed. I'm waiting on the HEIM links to get here. I was going to use the stock watts and lower control arms but the Heim links are way better. Should be here in a few days then will finish the install and get the driveshaft made.. hopefully will be driving it in a week or so.. I will post some pics tommorow of the install...

Are you getting the heim links from Grannies as well? What kind of price were they?

Looking forward to the pictures!

I thought i ordered the lower control arm Heim links and the watts linkage ones. opened the box and only had the watts linkage heim links. had to order the other two.. All from granny speed shop. Watts links were 375 shipped and lower heim links were 175 +ship.. well worth it. The rear end won't sit correct without the lower control arms being adjustable on my 7.

Looks awesome! I noticed you haven't installed the torque arm setup yet, i'm assuming that's probally the most difficult part of the installation. I believe you have to pull the carpet up and drill the holes into the rear of he transmission tunnel.

I am still kinda surprised that you went with the mazda caliper brackets, perfect time to upgrade. But at the same time I guess you basically have everything to make it work and the rims for the 4x110 pattern as is. I have some wilwood rear brakes /w parking brake, and a bunch of other goodies coming as well. Then I need to figure out the rims.

Thanks for posting pictures of it and let us know how it works out when it's on the road again!

I just got the install instructions for the torque arm. Will do it this wekend. Send me your e-mail and i will forward it to you also.. I am runing 4X114.3 GSL-SE bolt pattern and rear brakes. The stopping power of them on the rear is more than enough with a good hawk pad. I already have TII front brakes with re-drilled rotors.. The gsl-se brakes bolted on without a issue and didn't have to buy a thing.. I'll post more pics after i install the torque arm..

Directions for torque arm install...

The front hole is located in the center of the tunnel, appx 2-3/8" behind the bolt that attaches the e-brake mechanism.
After the front hole is located, you can use the front yoke as a template to locate the rear hole, which is located appx at the point where the console ends. Minor trimming will be required to the console for clearance of the rear rubber bushing, but the front bushing will clear the inside of the console w/o modification.

Hmmm interesting, I take it back then, it looks very simple to install. Seems like a a pretty well thought out product on GSS's part. Can't wait to see what the final results are!
