Got my glass moon roof today

I love it, looks awesome... Its in nearly perfect condition the guy who sold it to me sold his 7 years ago and just held onto the glass moonroof I thought I got not bad deal at $120 dollars canadian...

Can't wait till i get my car back on the road this summer its gonna be a new vehicle, new paint, full racing beat exhaust, glass moonroof its been a fun winter thats for sure (my parents would disagree with me stealing their vehicles everyday)

I love my glass moonroof! I've only had it about a week, having snagged it off a parts car I bought recently. It really transforms the interior and, after getting used to it, I think it would feel claustrophobic if I put the steel roof back on. Though I basically got mine free (the parts car was a running GSL-SE I paid $300 for...more than worth it, even without the moonroof), I now understand completely why peope pay a premium for them.

No.. Hookah...

It's used for smoking a moist flavored tobacco (Usually Molasses, Fruit oil/pieces, and tobacco)

AKA Shisha, Waterpipe, etc...

It's got a bowl in the top, you fill with the tobacco. Some people cover the tobacco with a perforated foil or screen, put a charcoal on top, and the smoke goes down through a pipe into water, and up through a hose...

The water filters out the tar, and it's got like 5% Nicotine of a cigarette... Although no form of smoking is healthy, this is as close to it as you can come... Fairly relaxing too.

EDIT: I was looking in the lounge for a thread where I had a pic of one... No dice... Thread must have been ANCIENT... Anyhow, the red thing on the edge of your bookshelf looks a little like the bottom aprt of a hookah.. Maybe not wide enough, and the pipe is missing...

Damnit... Now I want charcoals for my Hookah... I have some mixed fruit that I go at...

My wife spotted the one I had while we were looking over some 7's in a salvage yard in MO. I walked right by it! It came off of an '83 LE. Too bad someone had already snagged the wheels. Got it and the passenger side manual window assembly for $75. Got a mint leather bag from a guy in STL, MO and now all I need are the straps to hold it down in the back if I ever take it off. During the winter, I have the metal panel in. Once all of the snow, ice, and salt are gone, I'll drop the glass one back in Even with the tinting it has in it, I still get burnt on long cruises. Have to remember to put on sunblock on the right hand side of the body now

The smoke grey ones were the same on all FBs but the SE. The bronze tinted SE glass top is the rare one .

I got my moon roof w/ the white 81. I only use it fall, winter, spring. Summer sun is too much w/ the black interior. Once had a close call w/ lightening wich was especially scarry w/ the moon roof.

Mine was in nearly mint condition surprisingly. Only thing wrong with it is the tops of the mounting hardware that were exposed have a bit of corrosion on them.

you best bet to find one is either look in your local bargain finder or look in the For sale section on this forum
