NV Goopy Performance

Has anyone used this vendor for rotor housing rework or any other need? I am curious to see if anyone has housings done by them, likes, dislikes?

there have been several threads relating to goopy resurfaced housings, all have been pretty much good. judge ito is an advocate for sure. On my last build, i didnt have my housing resurfaced, but i am using goopy oversized apex seals and their machined inserts for 6 port motors. i can say that im pleased with the products and especially with the customer service. Jon at goopy is the owner and designer of most everything they do or sell, and he is more than willing to help out and talk or answer questions

+1^. I personally haven't seen a bad review on them. I spoke with Jon and he was very informative and helpful. He knows his stuff. As soon as I get my next paycheck i'm ordering goopy apex seals for my build. Not to worry about their service or products.

In a nutshell, the better condition the housing you send in, the better you will get back. It will not fix chrome flaking, as the process only removes material. Either way, after resurfacing the housing will be better than it was before

Ok, I have another dumb question, how do I get the old o-ring residue off of the irons? media blaster? I guess they are the coolant seals(o-rings)?

if you intend to send the housing to goopy, just make sure they are free of oil and loose crud and they will media blast them for you for no charge.... or if you really want you can just blast them yourself (make sure you get all the nooks and crannies, and get rid of the calcium build up in the coolant jackets too)
