I'm looking for parts for my 1980, I need some interior parts and exterior parts. mostly trying to make the car look nice before I do any performance stuff. Where should i look for the biggest selection for these parts. I know about racing beat and mazdatrix. perferably online but if its close to the PA area that would be nice too. other than Rhineharts.

 

You can't get 99% of the interior bits new any longer. You can get carpet, dash cover, and replacement seat fabric after-market, but the rest of the trim/interior will need to be used.

Places like Rhineharts, Riggs and guys parting out cars are the only sources for many parts. There just isn't much aftermarket reproduction parts or support available for Rx-7's. We are left picking through the bones of other, less fortunate cars. There is a market place section of the forums here, or Face Book or even eBay. As KC said, place a parts wanted ad.

The 1980 cars used a few one year only parts, which can make things even more challenging. It pays to be knowlegable on what you are looking for as 90% of sellers out there will just lump all 1st gen stuff together.
