Question Good place/prices for RB springs and Illumina shocks?

I'm going to swap out the rock hard Tokico springs on my 1st gen this summer with Racing Beat springs. While I'm at it, I'm going to swap my Blues with Illuminas.

Anyone know if there are any other places to get the springs other than Racing Beat? (I know they distribute to others at discount, so just wondering if they are cheaper elsewhere).

Also- any good places for Illuminas?

(If any one wants to buy a set of Tokico springs and blues with less than 10K miles on 'em- let me know!)

I may be interested in the tokico springs..

best prices on tokico shocks is
shox.com..

there was a place on ebay selling them like $20 cheaper.. so i tried them.... and received my shocks like 8 weeks later..

I have always used suspension techniques springs and sway bars. I buy these from Shox.com as well.

I have a friend with a set of front illuminas and a set of rb shocks.. that has maybe 600 miles on.. he may be selling soon.. if interested.. let me know..

RB Springs are stiffer than the Tokikos, IIRC.

Just get the springs from RB. They don't discount too much to their distributers. It ends up to the same price where ever you get it.

Here are the spring rates with the most popular brands. (from a search on this forum). I phoned Tockico directly and got their rates (Tockico no longer makes them for 1st gens). I need something a little softer on my car..Rides a little too harsh for my liking (and road conditions I travel).

Racing Beat Front- 145 (linear)
Racing Beat Rear- 110 (linear)

Tockico Front- 194 (progressive)
Tockico Rear- 111 (linear)

Suspension Technique Front- 85 (preogressive)
Suspension Technique Rear- 80 (linear)

Eibach Front- 171
Eibach Rear- 100

ST looks kinda weird to me..Close to stock? Anyone use ST springs? Are they soft?
