Good Pirce on Tokicos

Just a heads up for anyone looking for struts/shocks. I just bought a pair of front Tokico blues from these guys for $102.75 with free shipping. It's at least $20 less than anyone else I could find ant more than $50 less than Racing Beat or Mazdatrix when you factor in the shipping.

http://stores.ebay.com/Performance-P...QQftidZ2QQtZkm

They even shipped them out the same day as my order.

I just ordered a whole set of the Tokico HP's for 180 including shipping. I'm hoping I'll see a big difference, I have the stock fronts, and i have really soft GR-2s in the rear. and i'm really unhappy with the body roll. Will these make a big difference?

Try here:

I think this same guy (maybe?) was also selling the illuminas for $369 for a set.

Kent

Edit: Here are the illuminas for $350 + shipping:

Besides adjustability, what make the illuminas better than the hp's? Are they stiffer? More for the track? Thanks.

Price no limit - Bilstein are probably the best out there, but they're about 3x Tokico. Most of the racers that I've talked to swear by them.

Price dependent - HPs are a good strut for what you pay.

My understanding is that the blues are about a 3 on the illuminas. Illuminas are adjustable 1-5 valving and they Kinda overkill for a streetcar though.

Purple, what bilstiens fit our cars? The ultimate for our cars are advance design's from what Ive heard.

I've never bought them so I'm not sure of the models. I was told that there is a stock replacement Bilstein part though.

go to bilseins website i was checking them out and alittle pricy

rx7carl your right on the 3/1-5 onteh blues verse ills.. im getting the blues because i use my car for everyday driving and then fun driving the ills can be used as same but most people that have the ills in there car for racing purpose set them on 3 or 4 when racing since 5 hould be rock hard causing the rear to be alittle happy and the front to be loose

Oh I thought they were an adjustable bilstien for racing. I run my ills at 2 or 3 in the rear on the racecar, and a bit stiffer up front. Car is very controllable and comfortable at speed.
