Good Idea?

I was going to drop a 13b in my 84 gsl, I was thinking of selling the old 12a but now I'm thinking about throwing the 12a into a miata.

Good idea?

If you have the money to do it, yes, its a good idea IMO, altho it might be a bit too old for the miata.

I'd put a 13B fuel injected engine into the miata

No, no, no. Rotaries are extremely difficult to fit into a Miata engine bay. The weight of the 13B would make the distribution horrendus, the car would end up weighing over 2700lbs, and it wouldn't be that fast anyway. Just sell the 12A.

If you're still hell-bent on this conversion, check out the forums at Miata.net (no affiliation, blah blah blah). They'll quickly point you to a set of Azenis, even if you were asking about the motor swap.
