Good Deal?
Just wondering if this is a good deal, I know it's not an FB, but the 13b in it would look nice in my FB, and a 13BT excellent in the FC.
1987 GXL
Interior- Very Good
Exterior- Very Good (little clearcoat peeling, but only in a small section)
Motor- 80k miles
Car- 180k
everything seems to work fine. The exhaust was changes to single for some stupid reason, but RB can solve that quite well. Still has all accessories, including the air pump.
Wants $1k
What you guys think?

I paid a little over 3k for my 87 SE in mint condition with 75k one owner miles. that was almost 4 years ago.
If your looking at taking the engine and the selling the body, it might work out.
I haven't found any FC's near me in good condition, let alone VGC for $1k.
Doesn't sound bad, just check over the usual things. The plastics in the 2nd gens tend to be brittler that the 1sts. i.e. stereo surround and corner vents at the top of the dash and idiot cluster surround. The clearcoat usually fades worse than the 1sts. Must have been some of those 'improvements' for the 2nds.
