My logic is

I'm pretty sure this will be a very good tuned length, it should be tuned to pretty much the same RPM band as the full length PP exhaust is tuned for (using RBs 13B PP lengths).

I This setup will probably have the most distinctive sound too.

Why yes, there is some news of significance. The owner wound up sending the side plates to Jeff Bruce for some machining work and will purchase a shaft, dowel pins, tension studs etc. The kit comes with the custom parts you need to assemble the engine. You just supply the side plates and stationary gears so he can machine them to fit with the proper alignment. He also machines a couple of counterweights according to the weight of the rotors you want to use. In our case, the lightest stock 12A rotors from '83-'85.

The whole package costs around $5000 NZD. Not sure what that is in USD at the moment. Considering you'll have a freakin' 4 rotor to play with, it's pretty cheap!

Back when we originally priced this out, the NZD was around 70 cents ($3500). If you can wait for it to dip down again, you'll save a couple hundred bucks.

I was bitten by the rotary bug and now I've got rotoritis. I need to take two rotors and call the doctor in the morning.

I located two rotors today. They're '83-'85 (the lightest stock 12A rotors you can get). We just need two more.

Yes Jeff but real reason is word "ghetto" instead of "4-rotor"
It's tempting to construct even 3-rotor engine from stock 12A/13B parts, 20B are very rare.
