ghetto 4 rotor build
me and my buddy are interested in this as well, he has two first gens, and a second gen, and we're thinking about tearing apart his fb since it's in such bad condition and doing a 4 rotor swap on his sa so any good photos once you're finished would be really appreciated.
Willing to lend a hand
I grew up ripping around Seattle in my Rx2 in the late 80's/early 90's, and seeing you are in Seattle (somewhere), I would be willing to volunteer some time to this if neccessary. I do have a set of 83 12a rotors (not sure of thier weights yet) if you still need them. I may even have some good 12a housings. I've got a small collection of 1st gen parts, so maybe I can 'help'.
PM me if you are interested. The 'price' will be VERY agreeable.
Darryl
P.S. Your thread is awesome. I'm being dragged back into this rotory world I backed away from for so long. I need to get the 2 running, and stopping, (mainly stopping) and then it will be all over for me....

And to answer if its raining in the garage- Nope, but its snowing like a BITCH outside, and Seattle is a pain to get around in when its snowing. Patience, Grasshopper. Nothing good EVER comes quickly. Ever.
My lesson/saying for everything in life is as follows:
There is NO such thing as FREE school. Everything learned comes with some form of 'tuition'- Money, time or pain. Sometimes all 3.
That statement is always true.
Looking forward to an update, when one is available.

Awesome, Jeff! I wish I knew about you a year when I was planning to build the same thing. I ran into a problem with the e-shaft, and after several months of trying, I finally gave up on the idea. How did you get yours to work?
I do not understand what rotarycrazy was talking about back on page...4? If you run two 12A intakes, then the engine should get the same airflow as any 12A, right?
what are planing on doing for the ports becouse from what I see you will starve the two middle rotors of air with such a small ports.
