getting to the fuel pump

i dont need to drop my gas tank do i? there are 2 things in the back that have rivets holding them on.. do i drill one of them out and theres the pump? im really not looking to drop the whole tank, but i guess if i have to, i have to.

No, the fuel pump sits in front of the diff. Just jack the rear end up and follow the fuel lines.

Ditto above. It's on the driver side. Also, it's hidden by a plate. The plate is held on by 4 or 5 bolts. Then you have the pump bracket. Not a real difficult job.

i believe that the plate is only held on by 2 bolts, and then the pump is held on to the bracket by two bolts. easy to find

yea the pump is on that plate, its an easy job to switch. The wiring goes inside the car and can be accessed from the driver side compartment.
