Hi guys!

i've bought an 81 SA 3 years ago, anbd since 2 years i've sit him in the garage...

so the last weeks she had become a new clutch, clutch slave cylinder and some other little things... today i took her out for a ride and had some problems...

the car don't IDLE's everytime as she should... simetimes she IDLE's perfectly at 800rpm, sometimes she dies...

sometimes, when i press the acc pedal hard, she starts bugging and running roughly, don't will speed up right...

and 3 times in a 10km ride, she died while i was driving!...

the rpms start to fall, when i press the clutch pedal she dies, and when i press the acc pedal the rpm's don't going up...

pls help me out guys, i wanna bring that sweeeeet baby back on street... and i need her back @ street while i rebuild my FC

 

carb rebuild, eh? did you change the gas in it after it was sitting for 2 years?

if not drain the floats in carb and drain tank and put fresh gas in it

 

the tank was empty, there is new gas in...

i've talked to a lokal rotary-addicted he said maybe i have water in tank or in the carb-tank!?

 

that could do it too, i would rebuild carb.

 

i live in austria, no rebuild kits out there fast...

i don't want too rebuild the complete carb if i only have to clean the in-carb tanks!?
