gauge cluster wiring

trying to wire in a gauge cluster in the rally rx7. basically, there is no harness, so im running wire to the plugs that should make the cluster work.

i have the green/yellow power wire, tach, fuel hooked up and all the grounds off the two plugs. But, when i kick power on, nothing happens. fuel gauge doesnt work, tach doesnt work with the car running, battery gauge shows nothing...

frankly, i have no idea why. is there a wire im missing? There is a two prong male connector that is just hanging out on the cluster. (not the other two prong that connects to the top lights). Grounds are good, i have 12vs to the green/yellow wire...
