Gas tank removal help!!

ok my 83 rx7 was leaking gas, so i started to remove the gas tank and all the hose's came off. I did lable the hoses so they wouldn't get mixed up. My problem is that the main hose where the gas gets put in is stuck and i tried pushing and pulling and the dame thing won't budge. I'm thinking of just cutting the hose off with a razor and just replace the hose with a new one if the bastard doesn't come off. That won't affect anything will it? Because i know that if i do cut it that whole rubber guard thing is going to have come off as well.

I unscrewed the 2 screws at the TOP of the hose (where the nozle goes in) and removed that with the tank, that gave me a lot more room to work it off. Took a while!
