Gas Tank Fuel Line Help
I have an 80 RX-7 that I just picked up for Cheap!
It didn't have a gas tank, Well I got a good one and went to put it in... Here lies the problem...
There are 3 lines coming from the front of the car...
Fuel Feed
Fuel Return
Evap???
And also a small device mounted under the car with 2 hose barbs...
The Tank has 4 Hose barbs, 3 are metal and 1 is mounted at the highest point and is plastic...
1. Can anyone tell me which barb from front to back is for which line???
2. Can anyone tell me the hose routing for the 2 barbed device mounted under the chassis?
I can get fuel to the engine hooking the fuel feed to the second barb from the front of the tank, But is that the pick-up barb?
I hooked the return line to the first barb from the front of the tank which sits at the lowest point, The carb floods as if the return line has back pressure. From what I have read the lines must all be hooked up in the right order to allow the car to run and not flod the carb... Can anyone PLEASE HELP???
The Haynes manual doesn't show any layout, nor does the Factory book....

yeah the manuals are pretty useless.. as I remember when I pulled the tank off my race car, there were a few lines, the obvious ones went to the filler and the filler drain. Then the others I'm not 100% sure, are they different sizes?
