Question Gas Tank Driveability

i have a leak in my gas tank... but it only spits gas a little when theres is 1/2 a tank of gas or more and i take a right hand turn quickly... question is... im having few problems at idle speed with sputtering and what seems to be an accelerator pump diaphram. will having a leak in the gas tank create any problems like these?

No the tank shouldnt have anything to do with the other problems directly. But the holes in the tank (prolly from rust) would indicate that the inside of the tank is probably in bad shape in in need of attention. Sediment in the bottom of the tank can clog the screen, and fuel filter and cause many driveability problems. Check/change your fuel filter.
