G tech poll

I was Thinking of buying one of those G tech
meters to measer horspower. If it works like it says it does then it would be a very good tool for tunning and would be well worth the money. Anyone
have any opinions? Thanks

Don't know yet, but I found a good deal on one about a week ago, and it's in the mail, so if you're patient a week or so, I'll let you know what I think

I've got one. Not quite as cool as you would expect, but still worth the investment. They do tend to kill your gas mileage...

They're not quite as accurate as a dyno (duh) nor as a timing system at a track (duh) but they do show you intresting numbers, and can be used to suppliment the butt dyno if you've got access to some streches of unpatroled road to play on. I improved my launching skills a bit thanks to the 0-60 / 1/4mile timer when borrowing a friends.

And they do tend to lower yer miles / gallon numbers
