fuse box and flasher relay fell

Hey fellow forum members

for the life of me i can't figure out how to reconnect my fuse box and flasher relay to where it was connected on the car. Everything works but literally both are hanging by the wires right in front of the clutch pedal- I can't find any of my manuals and for the life of me can't figure how to reconnect them or even how I would reconnect them

was it one bolt each that held them to the body? I think I remember the fuse box was near the driver side speaker but have no clue about the flasher relay.

Would you guys be able to help in this regard?

I've searched for photos showing their original location and could not find any, let alone what was used to hold them in place.

Thank you so much- it's the last thing before I can finally get my SE back on the road.

In my 85, The fuse block mounts upside down to the lower dash trim piece that has your fuel lid popper. I think the flasher/ computer/ horn relay thing all mounts way up underneath but I don't remember that as well

Wow, you've been around here since 2007, but only 41 posts? Patient guy...

On the mounting of the flasher relay, there are several places on the metal bracing which run above where your clutch foot would sit - right above the 'dead-pedal' area. These are drilled and tapped for 8mm or 10mm bolts in machine thread (not self-tapping) and you can use any of them to attach the relays and get them up out of the way.

Lay on your back and get your head under there and you should be able to see the rails I'm talking about. Once you see it - it's really pretty simple to get it tucked up in there so it's not exposed. Good luck getting your -SE back on the roads,

The fuse box is held under the dash to a metal bracket/plate that is screwed to the panel that has your mirror switch, fuel door popper etc...
Anyway, there are 2 long Phillips head screws that go through the holes (you will see them if you look) in your fuse box and into the metal plate. Tighten the screws and it holds the box to the plate.
if you are missing the metal plate, then you will need to find one (which I have just PM me) otherwise there is nothing for the box to be secured to.
good luck.

I'm having the same issue but in an 82. I have no idea where it goes. If you find the location can you post a picture on here?
