Fuel tank lines.

I have my gas tank dropped on my SE and thought it was rather odd that the smallest of the three lines on top of the tank is actually the vent. I thought for sure the vent was the biggest line, but Iwas wrong. That means that the biggest line must be the return. Sure enough, I go to NAPA and they don't have exact fit fuel injection hose. So I got as close as I could. It was so nice to see the gas gauge working after I installed the new sending unit. I think it was years since it worked. Anyway it seems like it's going to be a pain in the neck to attach all the lines on the top and the fuel filler on the side. Wish me luck.

Mike

you need to drop the filler with the tank. three 8mm bolts need removed at the filler to body and the gas cap needs removed. that is almost a must for eaiser installation. next, the lines are a snap to install as you install them on the tank first and once the tank is installed, you can reach up fro underneath and slide the fuel hoses on their corresponding lines and reclamp them. then polug in the new sender and reinstall the left rear splashguard.
